How Synapse Nexus works
Four steps from signing up to a fully connected, access-controlled network.
Step 1
Create your organization
Sign up with your work email. Your organization and a free-tier network are provisioned immediately -- nothing to wait on, nothing to configure first.
Step 2
Generate an enrollment link
From your dashboard, create a pre-auth key -- reusable or single-use, with an expiration you choose. Share it as a scannable QR code or a short link.
Step 3
Connect your devices
Open the link on any laptop, server, or phone with a Tailscale-compatible client. It joins your private network immediately, reachable by every other device on it.
Step 4
Control who can reach what
Start from a Full Mesh or Hub-and-Spoke template, then refine with tags. Every change shows a plain-language diff before it goes live, and you can roll back any version.
Behind the scenes
Synapse Nexus's control plane speaks the same protocol as Tailscale's, so any Tailscale-compatible client works out of the box. Your traffic still flows directly, device to device, over WireGuard -- the control plane only ever coordinates who's allowed to reach whom.
